Ticket
Q: Where can I buy tickets?
A: To purchase tickets online, please contact Nippon Travel Agency here. You are requested to send the Ticket Application Form not later than 31 March 2006.

Tickets are available also:
Ticket Pia (FamilyMart), View Plaza, Miyagi Badminton Association, Tokyo Badminton Association, Yonex and Major sporting goods stores specializing in badminton gear located in the Miyagi Prefecture and Tokyo metropolitan area. Online purchase


How to get to the venue
Q: How can I get to the venue?
A: Sendai Gymnasium
Nearest station is Sendai City Subway Line "Tomizawa" station.

Take the subway from Sendai station and get off at Tomizawa station. It takes about 15 minutes from Sendai station. The venue, Sendai Gymnasium, is located just a five-minute walk away.
A: Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium
Nearest station is JR Sobu Line "Sendagaya" or Subway Oedo Line "Kokuritsu Kyogijo (E25)" station.

<From Tokyo Station>
Take the JR Chuo Line and transfer to the Sobu Line at Ochanomizu, then get off at Sendagaya.The train trip takes around 20 minutes.

No. Sendai Gymnasium does not have a car park for general visitors. Please use public transportation.
A: Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium
No. Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium does not have a car park for general visitors. Please use public transportation. There are some fee-based car parks nearby, but we do not have any specific information on them.


Match Schedule
Q: What time do the matches start?
A: Sendai Gymnasium
We will have eight matches each day. Matches will begin at 14:00 and 17:00, with four matches starting at each time, from Friday, the 28th of April to Monday, the 1st of May.
A: Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium
Nearest station is JR Sobu Line "Sendagaya" or Subway Oedo Line "Kokuritsu Kyogijo (E25)" station.
Wed, 3 May Uber Cup Quarterfinals 11:00 and 15:00; two matches at each time

Food and Beverage
Q: Can I buy food and beverages?
A: Sendai Gymnasium
Yes. You can buy snacks and beverages from shops and vending machines located inside Sendai Gymnasium. There is also a cafeteria on the second floor. We also plan to open stalls that will sell snacks and refreshments.
A: Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium
Yes. You can buy snacks and beverages from shops and vending machines located inside Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium.


Q: Can I bring in food and beverages?
A: Sendai Gymnasium
Yes. However, eating and drinking are not allowed in the seats on either the first floor or the second floor of the gym. People seated there are requested to consume any food and/or beverages in the lobby or the courtyard.
A: Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium
Yes. You can bring in lunch boxes and beverages. However, eating and drinking are not allowed in the SS seating area. People seated there are requested to consume any food and/or beverages in the lobby.


Tournament Official Merchandise
Q: Where can I buy the official program and/or official merchandise?
A: Sendai Gymnasium
You can buy them at Sendai Gymnasium during the event, namely, from Friday, the 28th of April to Monday, the 1st of May.
A: Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium
You can buy them at Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium during the event, namely, from Wednesday, the 3rd to Sunday, the 7th of May.


Photo Shoot and Autograph
Q: Will there be autograph sessions?
A: We are discussing a plan for this now. Once the plan has been finalized, details will be announced on our official website and at the venue.


Q: Can I take photographs?
A: Taking photos with telephoto lenses and/or flashes and recording with video cameras and digital video cameras are not allowed in principle.
